I am reading City of Ember by Jeanne Duprau and I perdict that Lina will figure out that the ripped paper is the instructions to the city of ember.
After I read I had a few questions.One of them is ,will Lina's grandmother die and who will Lina and Poppy live with?I think yes because she is starting to lose her memory and they could live with Doon Lina's friend.My second question is ,why would the old governor of ember put a pretty box in the back of a closet?I think the box could have instructions to escape from ember.I vizulized Lina finding a box in the back of her closet.I had truoble with the word overtired.I discovered that it meant someone bieng really really tired like exhausted.

I am still not seeing a lot of detail in your responses...in fact, I think they are getting shorter! You are only meeting the basic requirement with this post. Be sure to add a lot of detail and other comprehension strategies.
